With the Capital one cup above, we head into Fridays action. We kick off in Germany where Bayern Munich kick off their season after accumulating 21 clean sheets last term and will aim to get off to a winning start. Bayern’s game is best 8/11 for both teams not to score, but at home, we expect the disciplined side to keep a clean sheet and win to nil. The 2/13 outright is a near certainty, but Ladbrokes go 9/10 Bayern win to nil, with the same outcome just 4/7 elsewhere. This is our lock up single of the day.
We must apologies for the faux pas with the Gasquet bet in Thursdays column. Those that missed out, we will include Gasquet again for those missing out and will back Wigan at home in the super league to double up for a 13/10 return at Coral.
Recommendations:
· Bayern Munich to win to nil - 9/10 Ladbrokes
· Gasqeuet (Tennis) to beat Nishikori and Wigan (Rugby League) pays 2.30 at Coral
Note to the double - Those that took it are on for a £23,00 return we are able to trade this out to lay off our stake as Huddersfield are 2/1 (Paddy Power, Stan James, Sportingbet) to win the game. There is a small risk of a draw, but few games end in a draw and will lay off our stake to secure this.
Advised: We can lay £5 of the £13 profit to in thoery secure our stake back. We are sure Wigan can win, so will lay £8 at 2/1 on Huddersfield and £0.70 pence on the draw to cover all angles.
Advised:
Outcome one - Wigan win and we secure the 13/10 win paying £23.00. We have laid off £8.70 leaving us a £4.30 profit
Outcome two - Huddersfield win - Total returns £21.00, profit £5.30
Outcome three - The draw - £0.70 pence placed at 22/1 Paddy Power/888sport pays £15.40 to cover the total stake.
Sorry if this appears complicated, but our aim is to make profit and minimise liabilities where we can!
