I am back on the football front and have considered a second article for the more cautious punter of selecting a double each week with a view to create an even money or better return.
Like previous seasons our magic mark and not to lose features were very popular indeed and could well return on a regular basis moving forward.
Early season so low stakes :-
Looking at the early form it’s difficult to look past Woking to take a home win against Oxford City at 87/100 with Marathonbet and 5/6 with Hills.
Oxford City have failed to score in two games and their pre-season form had uninspiring results.
Woking are 2/2 at the moment and both by a goal margin which is 11/4 with Bet365. Over 2.5 goals and BTTS with either team winning is worth avoiding at 11/8.
Manchester City can begin their Premier League campaign with a win over the Gunners on the road this Sunday. The last three have all gone City’s way and looked in good nick defeating Chelsea last weekend to capture their first silverware.
The overwhelming league favourites have also been installed as the Champions League front runners backable at evens with 10-bet with all other firms a notch behind at slight odds on.
Arsenal have not been defeated in preseason friendliest but have regrouping to discover their position back towards the top four and stopping City will be their first task but in my opinion just falling short.
Last up sees a goal fest at Pride Park as Leeds are welcomed to one of the league favourites for this season. Quite simply early doors in the season could still open up holes in both defences and both teams have a good head to head edging 3/5 both scoring and over 2.5 goals.
Both meetings registered last season and even money does represent a fair chance with Betfair.
Recommendations
Woking to beat Oxford C (Conference South) - 87/100 Marathonbet 1pt
Derby/Leeds - over 2.5 goals - 1/1 Betfair 1pt
Man C to beat Arsenal - 19/20 general 1pt
If applying the treble it pays 6.29 at Marathonbet. Covering Magic Mark principles on 3 doubles all selections must be 4/5 minimum to qualify as two correct will guarantee a small profit!
Not to lose ACCA
Monaco win or draw
MK Dons win or draw
Annan Athletic to score vs Cowdenbeath
Treble pays 2.14 at William Hill - 2pts
