We are back again for another Saturday feature.
We were unlucky last week, but still in big profit from week one. We only tipped two bets during the week, both won, so this season has gone off in the right direction already.
We begin at Selhurst Park where Palace are still manager-less at the time of writing, Tim Sherwood has reportedly stated the job is not for him, and the other news items which we cannot go into detail.
Prices indicate Palace have an implied probability of 40% to win the game, with the draw and the away side with a 30.35% of winning the game. Now the average punters make think, what a load of rubbish perspective, but this is how bookies make their money. Three of the last five Barclays Premier League meetings between Palace and West Ham have ended as 1-0 wins for the Eagles.
Palace have conceded at least two goals in each of their last four Premier League games after conceding only five times in the previous nine.
Although the head to heads will not make too much sense, there is a change of management from last term. Both sides to net is 11/10 and a worthy punt on the basis that Palace played some good open football in their defeat to Arsenal last weekend. The last three Palace matches have seen both sides score, and being so early in the season, goals are on the agenda!
The next game is at the stadium MK, where the home side are 10/11 favourites to win the match. MK bar a narrow 3-2 loss to Peterborough have won their other two games and play a Coventry side that have won one in the last six. Although the sides traded victories last season MK in our opinion have the goals and strikeforce to keep it tight at home. MK are 5/6 to net two or more, but think the midlands Derby will reign supreme in taking the three points.
Our last game focusses on Southampton and West Brom where we anticipate an attacking game. Both sides were awarded six corners in their openers and West Brom are 6/5 for five or more corners. Bet365 and Paddy Power take evens, whereas the Southampton line is at 5.5 at 8/11 for six or more.

This column aims to make the average conservative punter some entertainment on the weekend. We begin with Barnsley, who are around the 1/4 mark not be beaten. We know one of our followers is a BIG Barnsley fan, who loves to bet and knows a good thing when she sees it. Barnsley on the head to head have been beaten on just one occasion in the last six. Barnsley are just 3/10 with a quarter goal start. Both sides trousered a 2-2 draw in the last encounter, and this will do fine to win our bet. Our second game looks at AFC Wimbledon to continue their good run unbeaten in the league, with wins over Southend and Luton, with a draw to kick their season off. Hartlepool have lost all of the last five.
Our last game looks at Everton hosting Arsenal, where we think the gunners are capable of picking up a point. Everton have beaten Arsenal in one attempt in six, with the gunners remaining unbeaten in the last six games. Arsenal have a crunch Champions League game next week, so this will be as important to maintain fitness before the return clash next week. Arsenal have good form coming into this, and should get a point at goodison.
