Magic Mark
Just to remind you of what this column is all about - Magic Mark is all about identifying three bets priced at 4/5 minimum to be taken on. We perm doubles, so if one falls, you will achieve a small profit from two winning selections. This column has been highly successful with just one losing week in 10 weeks.
Firstly looking at the Hull/Villa game the 9/4 on Villa is tempting to say the least, but Hull have struck some form, unbeaten in the last four. Villa have struggled to keep clean sheets and only one in the last twenty eight have seen a clean Villa sheet.
Six occasions this season have seen a team coming from a goal down to go on and win. Villa have been involved in two of these, on the winning side. There has been a succinct lack of goals at the KC stadium with fans seeing just four goals occur. Three of these were by the home side.
Villa have a strong away form guide, losing just two games in the last eight, winning five of these and after beating Manchester City last weekend, plenty will pile in on Villa not to lose this surely. Villa are 7/8 with a quarter goal start, so if villa draw, you win half the bet and get half the stake returned. If they win, you win the entire bet, which really makes this the bet of the weekend!
Our second game comes from Loftus road, where we are going with QPR on the Asian Handicap to beat Barnsley. QPR have been very good defensively, and Barnsley were able to scrape a draw midweek against Reading. All of the last six games QPR have been in have not seen both sides score. Barnsley have failed to net at Loftus road on the last three visits, and the strong defence from Harry’s army supports this bet that the last game they won 2-0, which would have won this bet.
Our last game comes from Oldham, where they welcome Leyton Orient, whose winning streak came to an end versus Wallsall. They remain unbeaten and can get back to winning ways with a win up north. Oldham have won just one in the last six and Orient are more than capable of a win here.
Recommendation:
Double chance:
We absolutely love this column in picking out a worthy bet for the more cautious punter and those following both columns since the beginning would have reaped a big profit.
Our 2.36 treble begins at Huddersfield, where they are without a win in the last six, and welcome a Watford team that have lost just once in the last six and look to re-build themselves after a narrow defeat to Blackburn. Bar losing in the cup, they have mustered up 1-0, 2-1, 5-1 and a 1-1 in the other four games. Although Huddersfield are unbeaten at home, their win record does them no favours and Watford are able to hoover up a point come final score.
Our second game comes from Oxford, who welcomes Southend, who have drawn the last two games and lost the four before that. Oxford bar a narrow 1-0 defeat have remained undefeated in the other five, and their home form was strong last season.
Our last game comes from League one, where we see Wolves as bankers to not be beaten on their trip to Colchester, with Wolves winning the last two games to nil, and Colchester have failed to win any of the last six.
