We enjoyed a maximum day in our main Magic Mark and Double chance column, which appears on selectabet.net!
Finally Liverpool lost their first game and only by a narrow margin once again. This time on receipt of a 1-0 defeat. Part of our “Daley” Double was on under 2.5 goals and also both teams not to score in the QPR game. Derek McGovern on the William Hill “The Punt” podcast reaffirmed the research I had carried out, which made Liverpool/Southampton under 2.5 an excellent bet, seeing it was odds against. Derek referred this to mortgage material, and he was not wrong!
Has Liverpool’s bubble burst or was this a blip?
They have a considerable advantage around the teams in contention who are also in Europe and are 11/8 with BetVictor to finish in the top four.
Latest top four odds:
· Manchester United – 1/8
· Manchester City – 1/14
· Chelsea – 1/14
· Arsenal – 8/11
· Liverpool – 11/8
· Spurs – 6/4
All prices quoted from BetVictor. Despite the top three all heavily odds on, there is no value in any of this, and the bookmakers expect to take cash on this?
We have four games in the premier league this Sunday including the Manchester derby on at 16:00.
Arsenal were stated by the guys over at easyodds.com that arsenal were too short. Derek also claimed this also and went with Stoke to win or draw on the double chance market. Palace play Swansea, who beat Valencia in possibly the biggest win of their existence and are 11/8 to see Palace off. Is this a little short in hindsight?
Spurs are odds on to beat Cardiff away, and again, short in respect, but may see scores of punters pile in on a not to lose situation. People should cast their minds back to when Cardiff took Man City out. With the added pressure of games for Spurs, could this go their way in respect of more play time experience, or will Cardiff’s additional rest since their last game have them needing to blow a few cobwebs off in the first third of the match?
